Anne Elmholt works as a performance maker and scenographer. She uses scenography and space as a catalyst for dramaturgical scores and systems and further develops them by drawing inspiration from other fields, such as science, sociology, anthropology etc. In this process she has a strong focus on developing strategies that further involves the audience as an active part of the creation process, aiming to create a stronger dialogue between performance art/space and spectators. Through her work, she tests and explores current discourses in society.
Anne Elmholt is currently based in Copenhagen (DK). She studied Performance: Design and Practice at Central Saint Martins in London (UK) with a focus on image-driven devising, as well as Performance Art/Scenography at the Danish National School of Performing Arts (DK).
