Live Stream 1.0 or Recollection/Repetition is a dramaturgical exploration that investigates to what extent we can return to or repeat the „normality“ we knew before the corona virus pandemic.
The performance was constructed as a game of repetition, where one audience member would gain access to my screen and invent characters and scenarios that I had to cast and stage from a limited amount of pre-selected props. The rules of the game created an environment where the accumulation of images would make the perfect repetition impossible over time. Through this game myself and the audience could investigate to what extent repetition was possible within the framework of the game.
Over the course of four hours, three audience members had access to my TextEdit program, where they each had an hour to create and repeat characters and scenarios, interrupted with two half-hour resets of the table and props.
First performed ONLINE, NOVEMBER 24 2020
